The Chick-fil-A Bowl is committed to nurturing student-athletes at all levels. To further this mission, in 2006 the Chick-fil-A Bowl created an endowed scholarship program designed to benefit the universities who participate in the game each year.
Each university that plays in the Chick-fil-A Bowl receives $100,000 in the form of a Chick-fil-A Bowl Endowed Scholarship, plus participants in the annual Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge golf tournament are playing for more than $500,000 in endowed scholarship funds for their universities.
The Chick-fil-A Bowl currently operates endowments at 18 universities, with assets of more than $2 million.
